How appropriate that the Light of the World’s birth is celebrated by decorating our homes and yards with light. Offer to drive a homebound person to see the holiday decorations and lights around your city or neighborhood. Even some seniors who are active don’t go out in the evening because of problems with night vision. This is a great thing to do as a husband and wife especially if the elderly person needs help getting in and out of the car.
