What if this Christmas – He returned?
What if this Christmas – those holy feet touched this Earth once again?
What if this Christmas – the cries of a newborn heard those centuries ago are replaced with the commands of a King?
What if this Christmas – the promise made in a stable is fulfilled on the world stage?
What if – you didn’t know Him?
What if – you could?
Isaiah 9:5-7 (NKJV)
For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
This season let us remember that Christmas is the celebration of a promise made so that we don’t have to bear the burden of ”what if”.
